Dakar 2018 Coverage Starts January 6

All year long, competitors across the world have been preparing for one of the biggest races in the world on January 6. If you are reading this and live in the US, you are probably thinking Supercross? Well, both the Dakar Rally and Anaheim 1 take place on the same day. As far as an American audience goes, Supercross dominates our racing focus, but as far as the rest of the world is concerned, the Dakar Rally is way more important.

This year has three strong American racers (Ricky Brabec, Andrew Short, and Mark Samuels) contesting, so if there is any year to peel a little bit of your attention away from Supercross, this would be it. We had a chance to talk with each of these racers in this story and we are super excited to watch these guys take on the biggest off-road race in the world.
