UPTON, WY - Factory Husaberg rider Mike Lafferty finished the seventh round of the AMA National Enduro Series in 3rd overall while fellow Husaberg rider Nick Fahringer finished 6th.

Lafferty rode a consistent race throughout the day. He battled with Cory Buttrick for 2nd position throughout the majority of the race. "I felt really comfortable on my bike today and the best I have felt all season," remarked Lafferty. After the third test Lafferty really turned up the heat and was able to make up some time. Unfortunately on the final test Lafferty crashed hard but still managed to finish the test with the second fastest time.

"I just didn't have what it takes to get the win today, but I am happy to still finish on the podium. I know where I need to improve and I am determined to get back up on the top step of the box."

Fahringer, who is suffering from a foot injury, had a hard time riding through the pain. His consistent times allowed him to salvage a 6th overall for the day. He will take the next month to heal his foot before returning for round 8 in Moorestown, MI.
