Amsterdam - The Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team has had mixed fortunes at round four of the Dutch Open Championship Series in Mill. Micha Boy de Waal was riding really well but because of a crash in the first race he finished in seventeenth position. In the second moto he was riding inside of the top ten for a long time. Unfortunately because of a small bike problem he had to lower the pace. With still 100 meters to go before the finish his bike stopped. Micha Boy jumped of the bike and was pushing it over the finish. He lost one position with this and finished the race in twelfth position. Mike Kras had a difficult day in Mill. He couldn't find his rhythm on the track and because of arm pump and pain in his back he had to be satisfied with 13th and 18th position respectively.

The track was in good condition and both Beursfoon riders were enthusiastic to go out on the track in practice. Mike felt good in practice and set the sixth fastest time. Micha Boy was riding good as well but in every lap he made a small mistake. Finally he set the fifteenth fastest time and was happy with this.

When the gate dropped in the first moto it was Mike who took the best start of both riders and came out of the first lap in 14th position. In the beginning of the race he worked himself up to twelfth position. Unfortunately he wasn't feeling well on the track and got arm pump. Because of this he couldn't ride the pace he wanted and couldn't pass more riders. He finally finished the race in thirteenth position. Micha Boy took a poor start in the first moto and came out of the first lap in 21st position. With consistent lap times he charged back to tenth position but when he tried to pass the ninth place rider he jumped to far and hurt his wrists. Some corners later he collided with another rider and crashed. Micha Boy lost a lot of positions and dropped back to nineteenth place. In the rest of the race he gave everything he had and still finished the race in seventeenth position.

Mike took a good start in the second moto and was riding in eight position for a long time. In this moto things were not going the way he wanted and he also got a lot of pain in his lower back. Mike had to lower the pace and dropped all the way back to eighteenth position. Micha Boy took a good start was well and was riding in seventh position in the first part of the race. Unfortunately his bike lost some power in the middle of the race. Micha Boy kept the pace as high as he could but lost several positions because of this. It looked like he would finish the race in eleventh position but with still 100 meters to go his bike stopped and had to push his bike over the finish. He lost only one place with this and finished the race in twelfth position.

Micha Boy and Mike finished in fourteenth and fifteenth position overall. After four rounds Mike sits in seventh place in the championship and Micha Boy is in eight position. The next race for the Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team is the first round of the ADAC MX Masters Series in Furstlich Drehna next weekend.
