April 19, 2011 - Santa Cruz, CA** - Under a blue bird sky in the Anza Borrego desert KTM's Kurt Caselli fended off a hungry pack of competitors at round 4 of the World Off Road Championship Series this weekend in Anza, CA. Finishing 2-2 on the weekend with a 2nd overall just behind teammate Mike Brown, Caselli currently sits in a tie for points leader with Bobby Garrison as they round the second half of the 11-month series.
"All-in-all it was a really great weekend for me. A great weekend for KTM with both 1st and 2nd place riders on the podium. This year has been pretty good so far; 12 more motos to go this year. There are plenty more opportunities to be consistent and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year." said Caselli.
Team Zip-Ty Husqvarna Racing's Cory Graffunder had a successful weekend as well, piloting his bike to a first place overall finish. Graffunder's win this weekend puts him within striking distance of series leader Justin Seeds.
