Andrea Cervellin of the SKS Polned TM Factory Team participated in the fifth round of the Dutch Open Championship Series in Emmercompascuum last Sunday. Cervellin was riding this race to gain some more sand riding experience. In the first moto he made a strong comeback after a poor start and crossed the finish line in seventeenth position. In the second moto he was charging through the field as well but unfortunately he had to lower the pace because an old back injury gave him some problems during the race.

After the bad luck at the Dutch Grand Prix the engines were checked at the TM Factory in Italy last week and after some small adjustments the problem was fixed. Andrea flew from Italy to Holland on Saturday to participate in the fifth round of the Dutch Open Championship Series in Emmercompascuum to gain some more experience in the sand.

In the first moto he started outside of the top 25 and had to come back through the field. Andrea was riding a good pace and had a nice rhythm going while he was making up positions. In the middle of the race he moved up to seventeenth position and managed to held on to this position till the chequered flag waved.

In the second moto he was charging through the field again but unfortunately he got a lot of pain in his back. This is an old injury because last year he had broken his back. Andrea didn't gave up and decided to lower the pace so he could make it to the finish.

The TM machine was doing a great job in Emmercompascuum and the team is really happy about this. The SKS Polned TM Factory Racing Team will now travel to Bulgaria for round two of the World Championship Series.
