One of the coolest things about off-road racing in America is that the racers and the mechanics are very approachable. If you visit the pits at a Grand National Cross Country or a National Enduro race, you will be able to talk to the riders and mechanics and you can also check out the exotic bikes up close.

Here’s a quick look at some of the factory bikes at the recent X-Factor Whitetails race in Peru, Indiana, including those of FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Thad Duvall, and Tely Energy Racing KTM’s Steward Baylor. Just be aware that sometimes the mechanics are happy to show off the race goods, and sometimes they will plead the fifth.
