2018 Reno EnduroCross Women’s Class Photo Finish

A&E Racing/FXR/KTM’s Shelby Turner claimed her second consecutive win in the Women’s class at round 3 of the 2018 EnduroCross series at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center in Reno, Nevada. With her victory, Turner took over the points lead with three rounds remaining in the series.

“I am happy to bring home the win this weekend at round 3 of EnduroCross in Reno,” Turner said. “I am starting to feel better on the bike and [am] slowly getting my cardio back. I am excited continue to improve my riding in the next three rounds!”

FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Kacy Martinez grabbed the holeshot, but was passed by Turner and ultimately finished in the runner-up spot.

“The track was fast other than one lane where they had the Matrix and rock hill,” Martinez said. “I never got a clean line through the Matrix! Making line choices is tough in our class because you come up to an obstacle and half the field is down, so it’s hard to think quickly on what the next best line. I did feel like I rode better than I did last weekend, but I still need to minimize my mistakes and be more consistent every lap. We have four weeks off now, so I'll be focusing on doing long, consistent motos.”

Allie Dorsey took the final step on the podium while A&E Racing/FXR/KTM’s Monique Johnson and Bibi Carmouche rounded out the top five, respectively.
