2016 Thor Winter Olympics at Gatorback MX | Day 6 - Racing | PHOTOS

The final day of racing at the 2016 Thor Winter Olympics at Gatorback MX in Florida.

Bright and early, 7AM bikes were on the track and the sight lap was underway. Last moto main events were in store and they delivered, no question. The battles that had been brewing all week came to a head as we witnessed some real barn burners from the 50's to the 450's. It was a long, awesome week of racing in Florida. We celebrated Thanksgiving with some cool motocross families who took us in as their own for the holiday. We are looking forward to next year for the AMA 46th Annual Winter Mini Olympics at Gatorback MX.

It’s not easy being the son of a legend. It’s a lot easier when you rip huge holeshots like this though! Evan Ferry, son to Tim Ferry, has been riding very well lately. He finished 3rd overall in the 85cc 9-11 Limited.Photo by Jacob Souder
And then there’s these two: Mathew LeBlanc and Nicholas Romano. They were locked in a battle for the lead in the 85cc 9-11 Limited. LeBlanc would eventually get the better of Romano and win the championship.Photo by Jacob Souder
