This year marks the 45th annual amateur national at Gatorback Cycle Park in Alachua, Florida

This year marks the 45th annual amateur national at Gatorback Cycle Park in Alachua, Florida. The facility boast three national caliber racing courses, two of which are used for competition this week. Monday-Wednesday is the supercross track is competed on and Thursday-Saturday are dedicated to the outdoor national championship. Tuesday was the final day of heat races and qualifying for the supercross main events Wednesday.

To put it simply, Haiden Deegan is a beast. The son of freestyle motocrosser Bryan Deegan won his 65cc 7-9 heat 2 today convincingly and clearing sections most of the 450c class racers weren’t doing.Photo by Jacob Souder
