How Much Power Does the 2026 Beta 430 RS Make?

Dyno testing Beta’s second-largest displacement dual sport bike for horsepower and torque.

Beta has quite a lineup of dual sport motorcycles in 2026 with four standard models and two special-edition versions. The largest displacement street-legal dirt bikes from the Italian manufacturer are the 500 RS and 500 RS Special Edition, and one step below them in engine size is the 430 RS, which is powered by a fuel-injected liquid-cooled DOHC four-stroke 431cc single-cylinder engine. To determine its peak horsepower and torque output, we ran the 430 RS on our in-house Dynojet 250i rear-wheel dynamometer, where it cranked out 35.7 hp and 27.7 lb.-ft. of torque.

In terms of non-Beta dual sport models currently in production, the 430 RS is closest in displacement to Honda’s CRF450RL, which produces 38.0 hp and 27.8 lb.-ft. of torque. Being 2.3 hp and 0.1 lb.-ft. of torque down from Honda’s 450cc street-legal dirt bike shows the 430 RS is quite competitive in peak power compared to a dual sport of similar engine size.
