Moto Master Ultra-Light Rotor Kits

Today's stock motocross bikes are built with stronger brakes than ever. We recently tested Moto Master's Ultra-Light brake rotors on a '03 Honda CRF450. In stock trim the 450 has decent brakes, but they tend to fade a bit during a long moto, and overall stopping power is reduced with less feel in the lever. Moto Master's front brake kit uses a caliper adapter that is constructed of CNC-machined AL-51ST aluminum. The caliper mounted up to the bracket perfectly, and the threads are super clean and smooth. The front and rear rotors are built up by a higher friction tolerance chrome-molybdenum steel alloy. The front rotor is a 260mm oversize unit and is still a bit lighter than the stock unit. Both the front and rear rotors mounted up cleanly, and all the components are up to par with the OE standards.On the track, the rotors noticeably did their job. Overall braking power improved, brake fade was nonexistent and the modulation in the lever was predictable and gave good feedback. The Ultra-Light rotors were unaffected by rainy conditions and were not too taxing on the stock brake pads. All of our test riders liked the Moto Master setup, and with good performance, excellent craftsmanship and a decent price tag the Ultra-Light rotors are an inexpensive way to bump up the performance of your ride.
