Skull Sock 2N1 Knee Brace Liners – Dirt Rider Magazine

I’m always looking for an alternative to pulling on what look like Antarctic-thick socks to go riding in the heat of summer. So when the Urbon 2N1 Knee Brace Liner showed up, I jumped in with both feet! The sleeves have a distinct seam running under the foot and up the back of the leg, which I could feel

when I walked to my bike, but it was never an issue once the wheels got rolling. The Dryline and VisaEndurance material seems slick, but my knee pads stayed in place better than with

other, separate knee sleeves, and they have survived a couple dozen rides and washes without showing signs

of wear. This is a good product and a must-have for anyone squeezing into a too-tight pair of hand-me-down

boots, or wanting to stick some extra support into a good-fitting pair. -Pete PetersonThe $49.99 compression sleeves are a thin Dryline and VisaEndurance material that I first tried wearing

over regular MX socks. They got my feet pretty hot, so I just ran them solo, and I never had an issue with

blistering or chafing. The sock/sleeve did give a little extra room in a tight boot, and came in handy

when I started testing some ankle braces that ate up a lot of boot space. The thin material doesn’t

provide any cushion, but that extra room will get a contoured insole comfortably under your foot.My favorite aspect of the sleeves is they are long enough to pull completely down over my knee pads,

tucking in the hook-and-loop straps so they don’t catch on my pant liner and pull the pad out of place.
