Pro Bleeder
Bleeding the air out of your bike’s fork helps suspension performance for free. But it is a chore that is easy to forget, and unscrewing the bleeder screw is a hassle. The $22.90 Pro Bleeder (specify KTM with or without adjustable fork preload or big four) installs quickly in the existing threaded hole without modification and allows the rider to bleed excess air from the fork by pushing the button atop each bleeder. They work great. The Pro Bleeder’s installed height is 71/48 inch or 22mm, so your bike must have clearance for the bleeders. Check for clearance with the holes behind the handlebar and in front of it, and you should find a spot they’ll fit. If not, MP has a Pro Bleeder kit that requires drilling and tapping the fork cap, but you get a much lower installation. -Karel Kramer
