MX Racer: Airtrix Custom Paint

We have seen some pretty trick custom helmets roll through the MXracer offices over the years, but this helmet from Airtrix has raised the bar to a whole new level. Based in Santa Barbara, California, Airtrix produced this helmet for us. When it first arrived, we spent days staring at the details. Painted as if it were a true artwork, Airtrix pulled out all the stops. The hand-painted Shoei is a true reflection of all the helmets that come out of the Airtrix paint shop; and even more impressive, the helmet was painted and back in our offices in five weeks–not bad! This is one helmet that you don’t want to have hit the ground.
