MX Racer: The Great Outdoors

We were stoked to finally see a motocross video on the shelves for those of us who have grown out of the Crust phase. The Great Outdoors is a video montage that chronicles the 2002 AMA national motocross series. This video is loaded with great footage and some really cool behind-the-scenes segments. There’s also a lot of cool commentary from our sports heroes giving us some new insight into their worlds. Our only complaint is the video seems to lack continuity. The program jumps around from one segment to the next in a way that becomes jarring after watching it a couple of times. We also thought it was a bit cheesy to print a positive testimonial on the box when that critique is coming from one of the title sponsors, who’s also printed on the box, but that’s a typical thing in this industry. All in all, The Great Outdoors is a must-have for race fans, it’s just too cool to pass
