2007 Supercross - Houston - Race Report - Dirt Rider Magazine

James Stewart racked up another win, but had to work a little for this one. After a mediocre start, Stewart worked his way into the lead at around lap five and never looked back. Reed worked his way thorugh the pack more slowly, finally taking second place after the midpoint. Timmy Ferry took the final podium position after holeshotting and leading for the first lap. Kevin Windham had a strong night, leading the first quarter of the race. He eventually finished fourth, with Travis Preston taking fifth.Villopoto again won the Lites class. A fall a few laps into the race had him working back to the front, and a run-in with Jason Lawrence brought some excitement, but Villopoto rose above it all and took the victory. Lawrence wound up with second, and Josh Grant took third.Supercross Lites Results
