First of all, love the magazine. I have to admit that I really enjoyed Ken Faught and was sad to see him leave but he truthfully left the magazine in good hands. I recently had extensive wrist surgery to repair my broken and dislocated left wrist after having it get stuck in between my Cycra Pro Bend hand guards and handlebars as I was being tossed over them (My fault-over shot a jump and didn’t make the next upcoming corner!). I’ve read several articles where you speak highly of the Flexx handlebar system (Fasst Co.) and how it has been better for your wrists. Looking forward to riding again but being concerned about my wrist comfort/safety, I am wondering if they are worth the money especially since they are quite expensive in comparison to other products. I currently use a cross bar design and I am wondering if even a Renthal Fat Bar or Pro-Taper design would be better as well. Any input you have would be greatly appreciated, before I drop substantial money. Looking forward to riding again in 3 months or so!!! Keep up the good work and providing us an awesome magazine.Scott Bishop

The Flexx bar is worth the money if your wrists need it, it makes a world of difference for me in riding on consecutive days or for long rides. It is the best and most expensive solution. Pro Taper or Renthal Fat Bars also flex a little but not as much or as noticeable as the Flexx bars and can’t be tuned like you can with the different elastimers. Also, there are some triple clamps with rubber mounting or damping systems incorporated into them but as I mentioned before, not as effective. Also, Flexx bars are heavy and some riders can feel this. -Jimmy Lewis
