RCH Racing’s Josh Hill was sidelined Saturday night after suffering a mild concussion and injury to his right hand at the season opening Monster Energy Supercross Series race in Anaheim. As previously released, Josh (Hill) will be sitting out the next 2-3 weeks from racing.
“We made the decision as a team. If it was up to Josh, he would be in Phoenix this weekend to race, but for precautionary reasons, we are going to make sure he’s 100% healthy before he goes back out there. It’s a bummer that Josh got injured, but we’re still behind him 100% and we’re expecting good results when he gets back. Morale is still high and everyone will be working hard for Broc in Phoenix” Kenny Watson, Team Manager, commented.
Josh will be re-evaluated by medical professionals before being cleared for his return to action. The RCH Racing team will have a single entry at this week’s SX event in Phoenix with Broc Tickle riding the No. 20 Dodge/Sycuan Casino/RCH Racing/Bel-Ray/Suzuki RM-Z450.
