AMA FMF Racing National Enduro SeriesRound 3: Alexandria, LA After a month delay, the rescheduled central Louisiana National Enduro came with near perfect conditions for the 300+ riders.Reigning champion Mike Lafferty returned to his winning ways by posting his first enduro win of the season. The riders warmed up with a short 7.5 mile section followed by a tight 12 mile singletrack stretch with two Lafferty’s, Mike and brother Rich, leading the way.The speed average bumped up to 30mph for the second loop’s little bit faster trail and Mike Lafferty once again led the way, followed by Robbie Jenks, Barry Hawk and Randy Hawkins. Most of the top riders remained evenly balanced for the 25-mile third and final loop. Lafferty’s first loop charge and points lead proved to be the difference, earning him the win. The win allowed Lafferty to extend his lead margin over Hawkins and Hawk who remain viable threats.Top ten overall and points dropped:
