The results are in for the opening round of the 2009 Monster Energy Supercross series and the latest round of the Arenacross series. Many EVS riders represented and rode well. In the 450 Supercross class, Paul Carpenter from the Monster Energy Cernic’s Kawasaki team, finished in the #10 spot. In addition, Josh Hill, riding the #75 Yamaha, finished 16th, while Robert Kiniry rounded the night out in the 18th spot. In the 250 Supercross class, Chris Blose took home an impressive 4th place finish, just one spot away from putting him on the podium. Ben Evans finished the night off within the Top 10 in the #9 spot. EVS wants to congratulate these riders on their outstanding performances at A1. In the Arenacross series, which made its most recent stop in Grand Rapids, MI, several EVS riders gave it their all and put in some great rides. Here are the results for the Lites and AX classes for both Friday and Saturday nights. Friday – Lites Class: Michael Willard – 4th Friday – AX Class: Josh Demuth – 4th Kelly Smith – 6th Shane Sewell – 9th Jim Neese – 10th Chad Johnson – 12th Michael Willard – 13th Steven Mages – 14th Saturday – Lites Class: Gavin Faith – 15th Saturday – AX Class: Nathan Skaggs – 1st Chad Johnson – 3rd Shane Sewell – 4th Jim Neese – 6th Michael Willard – 7th Kelly Smith – 9th With the Grand Rapids results, Chad Johnson is in 5th place, Kelly Smith is in 6th and Zach Ames is in 14th place overall in the AX Class.
