Newbury Park, CA. For 2007, Wonder Warthog Racing continues its mission to improve and empower the hard working privateers with the announcement of the most ambitious and innovative rider support programs ever conceived. By harnessing the benevolent nature of the elite stars and combining it with the extraordinary growth and marketability of Supercross, DeCal Works and Wonder Warthog Racing have created an outstanding opportunity for ten of the sport’s best racers. In an unprecedented gesture of goodwill and sportsmanship, Team Honda Factory racer, Davi Millsaps and the Millsaps Training Facility have embraced WWR’s “Big Tent” philosophy in a big way and created a program unlike any other, regardless of sport. Colleen Millsaps, director of the Millsaps Training Facility, helped create the WWR “Adopt-a-Rider” program as a means for the stars of our sport to “pay it forward”, by covering the airfare and other travel expenses of ten worthy privateers to all 16 rounds of the 2007 Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series. Davi Millsaps, the 2006 AMA Lites West Coast Champion, will be picking up the tab for one of the ten DeCal Works/P-LoK Hog Haven riders selected. The sponsoring pro rider for each of the remaining nine riders will be announced as they are “adopted”. The DeCal Works/P-LoK Hog Haven was created as a means for some of our best up-and-coming riders to compete in every round of the Supercross Series without having to deal with the high cost of transporting their bikes and equipment. It’s the next best thing to a factory ride! Their bikes and equipment will be hauled in the upper deck of a recently purchased world class semi and secured using the P-LoK system. They’ll pit under the largest tent in the pits with mats and shade provided by DeCal Works, who will also provide graphics kits for the team.Wonder Warthog Racing works very closely with Live Nation, promoter of the 2007 Amp’d Mobile Supercross Series, in creating these programs to compliment their own outstanding efforts to support privateer racers and their families. All eligible non-factory AMA professional Supercross racers are encouraged to apply at www.WonderWarthogRacing.com. Rider selection for the coveted ten spots has already begun and riders will be chosen by committee.Synergy Racing Technologies (SRT) is generously providing the underlying team infrastructure for this effort. SRT is supported by Lucas Oil Products as well other major sponsors.***********About DeCal Works:
