Over 80 Pit Crew and Driver helmets nearing completion.With the Daytona 500 and the start of the 2006 Nextel Cup Series just around the corner (February 18th), the paint department at Troy Lee Designs has their hands full, painting over 80 custom helmets to be worn by drivers, pit crews, and entire race teams.The paint racks are literally overflowing with helmets featuring custom designs for teams like Kellogg’s, Lowes, Carquest, GMAC, M&M, Miller Lite, FedEx, UPS, Interstate, DuPont and Home Depot, just to name a few.As the finishing touches are being added to the helmets, we snapped a few photos to give race fans a chance to see the helmets before the event.
