The Colorado Off-Highway Vehicle Coalition (COHVCO) and the BlueRibbon Coalition will host an important informational meeting on Colorado’s Roadless Area Review Task Force. Please spread the word! What’s going on: The bipartisan Roadless Areas Review Task Force—as directed by Colorado State Legislature—will hold its first public hearing in Delta, CO to gather public comments on the future of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forests. The task force will make a recommendation to Governor Owens as to potential changes to how “roadless areas” are managed. Here’s how you can help: “Get the word out!” The media is expected to attend this hearing and we want you as responsible Off Road Recreationists to be heard. The meeting takes place next week Wednesday evening and we urge you to attend. Your comments suggesting the need for multiple use management in Colorado’s National Forests will provide the ammunition for the Task Force to make responsible recommendations to Governor Owens.Your hostsColorado Off-Highway Vehicle Coalition (COHVCO) and the BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC): That evening, these two OHV powerhouses will share the stage during the barbeque for all our fellow motorized supporters.
