NASMOTO Announces First 2005 Event: the Grand Prix of Green BayUSA International Raceway in Shawano, Wisconsin has been selected to host theinaugural Grand Prix event to be produced by NASMOTO, the new organization designed to expand the sport ofSupermoto in North America.

The NASMOTO Grand Prix of Green Bay Presented By KTM takes place June 18-19, 2005, and will feature competition in the following classes: SMX, SM1 450 Open; SM2 250; Amateur Supermoto; Beginner Supermoto; Quiet Class; Sport Moto; Premier Mini; and Sport Mini. The inclusion of the SM1 450 Open class format reflects NASMOTO’s policy of enabling the sport’s top riders to go wheel-to-wheel at the highest level of competition.Specific NASMOTO event details, schedules, purse payouts and more can be found at www.nasmoto.com.Recognizing NASMOTO’s and the AMA’s shared vision of growing Supermoto racing from the grassroots level, KTM North America has stepped in as a presenting sponsor of the inaugural event.
