Suzuki U.S. Amateur National MX Series to Replace RM Cup for 2005American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC) today announced that the Suzuki U.S. Amateur National MX Series will replace and improve upon the established RM Cup for 2005. The goal of this all-new four-round series is to find the best pre-established races in each region, become title sponsor of the events, offer top-10 contingency for each class, and give back to the Suzuki customers in a unique and effective way.The series will be available for any rider on any bike brand. It will hit all four corners of the U.S. throughout the year, giving racers more opportunities to compete in at least one of these prestigious events:Two Brother’s Racing will join ASMC in promoting the ever-growing sport of mini-bike racing and will be on-site at each event with 10 identically prepared Race Tech/Marzocchi backed DR-Z110s for Saturday night’s Suzuki/Two Brother’s Racing DR-Z Challenge. One of these Suzuki DR-Z 110s will be given away at each event.Mastercraft will also join ASMC holding a Suzuki/Mastercraft wakeboard expedition at select events. Each racetrack either has a lake on or next to the facility, which makes this possible. These expeditions will provide the participants an opportunity to try out wakeboarding first hand and check out what Mastercraft has to offer.Finally, ASMC will have a presence at each event with all-new Trackside Support trucks providing free emergency parts and assistance.
