It’s Tuesday morning and the Dirt Rider office is completely empty. Why? Because we’re all at Dirt Rider’s biggest event of the year: The 24-Hour “Torture” Test. This year we’re testing 450cc off-road dirt bikes in Southern California’s Hungry Valley. We’re looking forward to Jimmy Lewis putting the “torture” back into the equation as we run seven of the newest bikes on the market through the gauntlet for 24 hours straight.Check back later this week for behind the scenes coverage from the event. We’re not giving anything away just yet; you’ll have to pick up the May issue of Dirt Rider to see which bike wins as Honda, Yamaha, KTM, Husaberg, Sherco (yes, Sherco), Gas Gas and Husqvarna duke it out into the night. But look for plenty of other good stuff from one of the biggest off road motorcycle events of the year. We’ll have pictures, interviews, new products, and if you’re lucky, a giveaway or two coming soon!
