He is finished as high as second place in the 250cc motocross season and top 10 in 250cc supercross.”I’m particularly pleased that Sebastien Tortelli will be racing the THQ World Supercross GP,” said Team Makita Suzuki Racing Manager Roger DeCoster. “He’s very eager to get back to racing supercross — especially since he’s had a rough couple of seasons due to injury — and we’re all looking forward to his return to supercross. Plus, he’ll be racing the all-new Suzuki RM-Z450 four-stroke motocrosser, which seems to fit his riding style very well from what we have seen in testing. In fact, he is faster on the RM-Z than he ever was on the two stroke.”Other top riders that are committed to race in the THQ World Supercross GP championship are Three-time supercross champion Ricky Carmichael and 2004 THQ World Supercross GP champion Heath Voss. The two international races coupled with 15 of the domestic races (excluding the Daytona Supercross) comprise the 17-round THQ World Supercross GP. Last season Heath Voss, of Mico, Texas piloted his Mach 1 Yamaha to the THQ World Supercross GP championship, earning top honors and giving Yamaha its second world championship in as many seasons. For more information, please log on to www.supercross.cc.com.
