Doing Figure Eights With Carson Brown

I have found out, in my few short years on this planet (ten to be exact), the trick to going fast is all in corner speed. I have been fortunate to ride with some of the fastest riders in the world over the years. They have all told me the key is corner speed. To go fast in the corners you have to practice figure eights. I do figure eights on flat ground, bumpy ground, sandy ground, and on the side of hills. When I get bored, I’ll break out the hose and practice muddy figure eights! It really has helped my riding more than anything. At the races, I have noticed that I am one of the only kids that can take the inside line in tight corners. Let’s face it, anyone can hold the throttle on and jump the big jump or pin it through the whoops. But only the fastest pros have real corner speed. Give the figure eights a try. It will make anyone faster – big or small.See ya at the track!Carson
