KTM Announces Support of a Second Factory FMF/Bonanza Plumbing/KTM Team to Compete at the SCORE/Baja 500

Murrieta, CA – KTM Motorsports is proud to announce its support of a second Factory FMF/Bonanza Plumbing/KTM Team to compete at the 44th annual running of the Tecate SCORE/Baja 500 held in Ensenada, Mexico on June 1-3, 2012.

The team will race aboard the number 2X KTM 450 XC-F motorcycle. KTM’s Mike Brown is the rider of record for this team as he and Quinn Cody raced aboard the motorcycle at the MasterCraft Safety Tecate SCORE/San Felipe 250 earlier this season. In Cody’s absence, will be replacement rider Homero Diaz.

Diaz, a five-time National Mexican Enduro Champion, is excited about the opportunity to join Brown in this event. “I think Brown and I will do an excellent job at this race. I am very excited to help Factory KTM at this event. I know the team well and have a good working relationship with them and am very confident heading to this race.”
