Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto grabbed his seventh moto win of the season at High Point.
Mr. Consistency, Ryan Dungey had another solid day, going 2-2 for second overall on his Red Bull KTM.
Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart had another day to forget, taking a rock to one of his eyes in the first moto after running out of tear offs. He then broke a disk rotor in moto two.
GEICO Honda’s Eli Tomac came from outside the top 10 to finish fourth in the second 250 moto, giving him third overall for the day with a 3-4 score.
Chad Reed was outside the top-10 again, going 14-13 for 14th overall.
Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin carried the momentum from his win last week at Muddy Creek into High Point and came away with his second win of the season via 2-1 moto finishes.
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Tyla Rattray surprised everyone by landing on the podium with a consistent 4-4 moto tally.
Team Muscle Milk Honda’s Trey Canard rails a Mount Morris berm en route to sixth.
MotoConcept Suzuki’s Mike Alessi grabbed a podium in the second moto with a third behind Villopoto and Dungey.
