Danny Smith: 1RACE RECAP: Suzuki’s Ricky Carmichael, of Havana, Fla., picked up his fourth consecutive THQ World Supercross GP/THQ AMA Supercross Series win in front of a sold out crowd of 45,050 fans at Angel Stadium. Carmichael becomes the only Suzuki rider in history to win four consecutive 250cc main events. Kawasaki’s Ivan Tedesco of Murrieta, Calif., won his second 125cc Western Regional THQ AMA Supercross Series race this year.

• Carmichael, who has two wins in Indy, became the first rider in Suzuki history to win four consecutive races.
• Windham’s best finish at Indy was second last year.
• Team Suzuki’s all-time best season was ’81, where the team had 10 wins. Barnett had six of those wins.
• Last weekend was only the 10th time in McGrath’s career that he finished outside of the top 10 in 165 starts.
