Matt Boni finishes in 12th and Matt Goerke in 15th, TiLUBE Racing News Release
Advance, NC (March 7, 2011) – TiLUBE Racing’s Matt Boni finished in 12th for the second week in a row in front of a jam-packed crowd in the Lucas Oil Stadium. Matt Goerke made a rapid recovery from his ankle injury last week in Daytona and finished in 15th place.
In qualifying it was Goerke with the best time for the team. He qualified in 13th place with a 50.621 second lap time. Boni was in 21st with his best time of 51.838 seconds.
Like last week, both riders rode in the second heat race but this time only Boni transferred directly to the main event with his 9th place finish. Matt Goerke followed right behind Boni with a 10th place finish and had to go to the LCQ.
Goerke got an okay start in the LCQ and had worked his way into 4th place. He caught a break when the two riders crashed in front of him in separate instances giving him the final transfer spot to the main event.
In the main event Matt Boni rode a solid race finishing in 12th place, Goerke finished the race in 15th overall.

After ten rounds of the 2011 Monster Energy Supercross Series, Matt Boni is in 17th place and Matt Goerke is in 29th place overall in the standings.
The TiLUBE Racing team’s next race is Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Everbank Field in Jacksonville, Florida. The SX Lites supercross races will be televised the next day on March 20th at 5:00 pm ET followed by the SX races at 6 pm ET on SPEED.
