Thor/Parts Unlimited Update

The week got off to a great start for Thor with two riders turning in 1st place finishes over the weekend.  The first top finisher came from 2008 MX1 Champion David Philippaerts in France who turned in two impressive motos at the GP (including a win in moto #2) to put himself and Thor on the top of the podium.  Philippaerts’ first-place finish puts him in 3rd overall in the MX1 standings, and in great position to charge towards another MX1 Championship.

Back in the United States Cory Buttrick brought home his first 2010 XC1 class win on the season at the Wiseco John Penton GNCC in Ohio.  Buttrick had to battle around a wet and sloppy track throughout the day, but when it was all over the top podium spot was his.

On Tuesday, June 8th Thor was on hand to support the KTM Ride Day at Pala Raceway.  As many know, Thor is a major supporter of KTM especially with the offroad team which features riders like Mike Brown, Kailub Russell, Cory Buttrick, Kurt Caselli and others.

Overall, the KTM Ride Day proved to be a great event for fans and industry representatives alike, and Thor is excited to be a part of the KTM team.

This weekend the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships will head to Mount Morris, Pa. for the Rockstar Energy Drink High Point National.  We’ll have photos and coverage from the event available on Facebook and YouTube, so be sure to log on and follow Thor online.
