The 2012 season starts with good feelings and the challenge of regaining the title for Gas Gas.

The first X-Trial World Championship event started this weekend in Strasbourg (France) with good feelings and better prospects for Adam Raga, who managed to finish on the second step of the podium after an excellent qualifying round and a great first part of the race.

After passing the qualifying round sections without committing even one error and zero points, tying Toni Bou, Adam began the decisive phase of the race safely, achieving very similar scores to those of the champion and clearly distancing itself from the rest of participants in the classification. However, this good line was truncated in the second round, as the Gas Gas rider suffered an unexpected failure to lose their chances of success and allowed his pursuers saw the possibility of challenging the second place of honor. Despite the added pressure on this final leg of the race and some little mistakes again, Raga assured the second position behind Bou and in front of Albert Cabestany on the podium.

With this second place at the inaugural event, Adam occupies the same position in the championship standings and is optimistic about upcoming appointments. The Gas Gas rider is convinced of their potential for be able to fight to regain the world indoor title and overcome Toni Bou. The second and third round of X-Trial World Championship will be held consecutively over the next two weekends, day 21 in Geneva (Switzerland) and day 27 in Marseille (France).
