Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki News Release
CORONA, Calif., (March 16, 2012) – Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett, Darryn Durham, and Broc Tickle are leaving the Daytona mud behind and making the trek to the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the next round of Monster Energy Supercross.
Baggett is brimming with confidence after his podium finish in Daytona, and is ready to get back to work in Indy.
“I’m going to try and bring some confidence from last weekend,” says Baggett. “We’ve been doing a lot of tire testing this week, and I feel like it’s made a big difference.”
Durham is feeling a little sentimental about this weekend’s race at Lucas Oil Stadium. Indianapolis is close to his Pennsylvania roots, and he’s got plans to put on a show for the friends and family that will be cheering him on in the stands.
“Indy is the closest race to home for me, so a lot of family and friends will be there,” says Durham. “I’ve been working on my starts, and am looking to rip a start and try to win my first one!”
Tickle had one of his best finishes last Saturday in Daytona, and has been laying down laps at the practice track in preparation for Indianapolis.
“I’ve been working extra hard on starts and corners,” says Tickle. “I’ve been feeling awesome, and I’m really looking forward to Indy. That stadium is sweet, and I like the dirt there. The plan is to get my best finish this weekend.”
