Despite the controversy surrounding the JDR Motorsports/KTM rider’s Australian Super-X Lites Championship, Larsen remains optimistic about his 2011 goals and sent in this note to thank his fans and team. – KTM News Release

I wanted to take a moment to publically recognize my JDR Motorsports/Motorex/KTM Team. Without the help of team owners Jay and Derek Rynenberg giving me the opportunity to go to Australia and race for them I would not have progressed the way that I have this past year. They have been great to work with in Australia and I am looking forward to continuing our relationship in the United States next year.

I was given the opportunity of a lifetime to go to a foreign country and do what I love most, race dirt bikes. I have met so many great people along the way during my 2010 campaign where I was fortunate enough to win the MX National Lites Championship and hopefully the Super-X Lites Championship.

The following people have played a pivotal role in my success and I can’t begin to thank them enough: Trish Rynenberg, Rick and Tina Osbaldiston, Allison, Ash Simpson, Troy Newell, Keith Ward, Luke Sanderson, Danny Apro, Craig Behl, the Marmont family, the Simmonds’, Brendon Harrison, and Dan McCoy.

Last but not least I want to say a very big thank you to Ronnie and Norma McFarlane, it was such a pleasure to have Ronnie as my mechanic throughout the Super X series and I know that Andrew is looking down with a smile on his face after our success. There are too many people to name that have helped me, but thank you to everyone. From the team to every last fan that cheered me on along the way. I look forward to seeing you all at the races!
