Jacob Argubright News Release
It’s been 5 weeks since Jacob Argubright underwent surgery to repair a broken Collar bone, and after being given the OK to continue on with his training regime, he plans to make his return to racing at the Best in the Desert Laughlin US Hare Scrambles.
Saturday will mark the Debut, for the first time, of his 2012 Monster Energy/Purvines Racing Kawasaki KX450F and Argubright plans to come back with a bang. “I feel really good.” Jacob explained, “The new bike is ready to go, and my shoulder feels better than ever. So were gonna go out there and try to get the win.”
Riding with long time friend Mat Henderson, Jacob expects to be near the front of the pack all day. “We actually drew the first starting position, which is both good and bad, but I’m excited that we will get the chance to start and ride dust free for at least the first bit.”
Joining Argubright for the Best in the Desert event, Henderson is no stranger to Purvines Racing and Kawasaki. “I actually spend a lot of time doing test riding for Kawi, so I am really confident with the setup that Argubright will be running.” Mat explained, “Ron has helped me in the past, and I usually return the favor helping in the pits or by traveling with the Purvines crew. I am excited to get the chance to ride for them this weekend.”
Look for Argubright and Henderson to be running near the front of the pack at this weekend’s US Hare Scrambles.
