Midway’s exciting to stay Us, we sought LOPES Adrien that he gives us his impressions here. Some relevant questions answered with great lucidity and sincerity. An interview with Sony Mx
Hi Adrian, you have touched the stars near you qualify in Oakland, tells us.
Yes it’s always been my childhood dream of being at the start of an evening like this. Despite the injury and my season in the semi shade to see off (lol) I chose to live this experience across the Atlantic! . From the heat, it was a mix of tight and happiness, it was still better than my podium finishes in the league of France.Collavini Lilian (my mechanic) told me “benefit” is what I did but it was not too obvious. QCA went better, I was released and I’ve managed to take a lot of fun.
On site, how it works for you?
The week I sleep in the hotel next to “Riverside” which is in the middle of all the training ground, for mechanics Lilian is happy because he is quiet to work on the carpet in the room lol.
Do you have contacts to hope to continue to compete with other events in the coming seasons?
It’s complicated because it is a big budget. With more partners for sure I go back every year with this year fortunately Freegun Leydet Underwear and Construction were there to give me a hand.
The US championship how do you judge? It is so inaccessible that? Is it accessible to everyone?
The level this year is really noted for if no driver is injured, there are still 35 official drivers in huge structures so it is 5 places for children to take private. After all can participate even with a small level to qualify but c is not really obvious.
Let’s talk about circuits: In France you are accustomed to what do you think Europeans traced paths you meet during your stay.
I will speak mostly fields Supercross races on the day they are quite different, the bumps are sharper and larger combos and longer. For cons for now all I got was that small woops. Many pilots operating on the track, it changes as the laps quickly enough.
The day of workouts in mx / sx is like when you go to market, first come best served the land is completely rebuilt every day, harrowed and watered several times a day. A tanker truck comes to watering in the evening almost all the land is lit and close at 22H and are open 7J/7J.
This experience will certainly serve you, what lessons do you draw?
I draw a lot of fun and of course experience.
At your direction what can develop our various championships?
It’s just a matter of budget and sponsors but we have to trace over them as it is here that what is best.
To the extent possible, do you think a brief appearance on the American championship may be beneficial for a potential increase? You advise a young person to do the same?
Yes it is on you learn a lot here, even in training there are a lot of good drivers who drive every day. The pool of good drivers Us is huge and we can only learn by rolling with them.
Have you thought about a time to end your career? or have you thought about taking a different direction?
Yes several times since the crisis of the moment is almost impossible to reconcile the two activities work / motorcycle. More problems with my knee, I much hassle and I will slow in 2012 to try to find a good orientation in the middle.
Many drivers are moving towards the MX enduro, it tempts you on?
Not at all.
What do you advise a young league Aquitaine wishing to follow your path?
Up to believe and to provide the means. Unfortunately times are tough for everyone.
Last season we saw you mentor youth in the championship of France, are you going to continue this experience?
Yes I’m busy with two young before. To William (Fegli), I am glad I brought where he is now and I think to be for many. It’s something I like so why not?
The direction of your career you it will be or is it already influenced by this experience?
Yes it motivates me for sure, but in 2012 there will be a lot of changes and it is too early to talk about it.
