Willy Browning Rides Incredible Race on Saturday Night – Comes Back From Last Place to Finish Fifth
Advance, NC – (December 13, 2011) – Nathan Skaggs won the Dash For Cash event on Saturday night leading from start to finish. The win was a highlight for Skaggs who failed to make the main event the night before. Willy Browning rode well both nights finishing in 9th place on Friday night and 5th place on Saturday night. His ride on Saturday was quite an amazing feat given that he had to work his way to 5th place from the back of the pack.
The AX heat races went pretty well with Browning scoring 4th place finishes both nights and Skaggs landing a 2nd place finish in Saturday night’s event. The AX riders leave the fourth round with Nathan Skaggs in 6th place and Willy Browning in 8th overall in the standings.
In the AX Lites class Massie failed to make the main event on Friday night after getting caught in a pile up. On Saturday he finished in 2nd place in his heat race. In the main event he worked his way up from 8th to 3rd place before crashing on the catapult jump. Massie was fortunate not to sustain any injuries when he landed on another rider and crashed. Despite finishing 13th on Saturday night, Massie was showing that he has his speed back will be fighting for wins again soon.
“Well we won another Dash For Cash, now we have to trade these wins in for some main event wins. The team is riding very well, we just seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when it comes to crashes and pile ups. Congrats to Nathan on his Dash For Cash win and Willy for riding an amazing race on Saturday. It was also good to see Patrick back in winning form,” commented team owner Dallas Avery.
