Enduro World Championship Rnd 4, GP of Poland, 12-13.6.2010 – Taddy Blazusiak Media Service 2010
KTM Enduro Factory Team rider Taddy Blazusiak has claimed two sixth place results in the Enduro 1 class at the fourth round of the ’10 Enduro World Championship, the GP of Poland. Competing in the event that marks the mid-way point of this year’s EWC series just one week after claiming a fourth straight Erzberg Rodeo victory, Taddy battled his way through two tough days of competition to once again claim impressive results aboard his factory KTM.
On day one Blazusiak placed just under two-and-a-half minutes behind class winner Eero Remes following more than one-hour of special test racing. Winning three of the four Extreme tests he also performed consistently on both the Enduro and Motocross tests. Finding the second day tough, due largely to his weak shoulder, Taddy managed to match his day one result finishing the event tired but having enjoyed what will likely be his last outing in this year’s EWC series.
Taddy’s attentions now turn to the upcoming Red Bull Romaniacs event.
Taddy Blazusiak: “I was really happy with my riding all weekend, although I made some mistakes during the second day. But I was really tired. Racing here so soon after Erzberg has been tough. I knew it would be but Erzberg was so tiring for me this year, not just physically but in every way. It’s been hard for me to change from racing over huge rocks at Erzberg on a two-stroke to racing special tests here on a four-stroke. I think I did a pretty good job of adjusting, but I know I can be faster with more time to prepare. But racing here was just a case of doing my best. It’s not so often I get the chance to race in front of my fans here in Poland, so I didn’t want to miss that opportunity. My corner speed was the thing I struggled with the most. Let’s say it took me a little while to find my speed as I was fastest on my last laps. Sixth on both days wasn’t the results I was looking for, but considering everything I’m still pleased. It’s been a great event and I’m really thinking seriously about maybe doing the complete Enduro World Championship next year.”
