DC Shoes Ride Day Event Recap
DC and star motocross athlete, Jolene Van Vugt, hosted a Ladies Learn to Ride Day in Pala, CA yesterday. Jolene is the first Canadian MX National Champion, the first female to backflip a full sized dirt bike, the holder of multiple Guinness World Record and a star in Nitro Circus. Media and industry ladies showed up to learn how to ride a dirt bike from the pro herself. The day included a full day of biking around the track at Pala Raceway with one-on-one lessons from Jolene, manicures by Minx, raffles with prizes by Urban Decay, Rockstar, EVS and Vestal and a preview glimpse of Jolene’s upcoming Spring 12 Collection with DC. By the end of the day all the girls were racing around the track with Jolene, ready to ride on their own. Check out the photos to see a bit of the fun!
