FARMINGDALE, NJ – May 20, 2011 - Bel-Ray Company, Inc. – Bel-Ray and Reed Set for Outdoor National Glory
The 2011 Outdoor National Motocross Series kicks off this weekend in Sacramento, CA at the Prairie City OHV Park. Chad Reed’s TwoTwo Motorsports/Bel-Ray Racing team is prepared to do battle in this 12-race series that takes place across the country during the summer from May until September.
Looking back at a successful Supercross season that rewarded Reed for his hard work and determination, Reed is ready to contend for the AMA National title that he won in 2009. Although the Supercross season started slowly for Reed and the Two Two team, they found their groove mid-season and were competing for the title by the end of the series.
Reed went out and won the season finale in Las Vegas and ended second in the series’ standings, just 4 points out of the top spot. Along the way, he won 2 main events, the Bret Michaels Rock Hard, Ride Hard Award, the Team of the Year Award, the Team Manager of the Year Award, and a new found fan adoration.
His preparation for outdoor redemption began right after the Supercross season ended and he comes into this weekend in Sacramento as a favorite for the event victory. Reed was the overall winner of this event in 2010 and he is looking to repeat when the dust settles on Saturday afternoon.
