S.K.S. Polned tm Factory Racing News Release

Andrea Cervellin of the SKS Polned TM Factory Team has scored a Dutch Open point at round three of the series at Heerde. In the first moto Andrea lost some time because some riders crashed in front of him in the first corner. From the back of the pack he finally came back to 23rd position. In the second moto he took a better start and finished the race in twentieth position.

The track in Heerde is a deep sand track and completely different than the track in Halle. In the week prior to this race Andrea practised a lot in the sand to be prepared for this race. With a lot of self confidence he went out on the track in practice. In the beginning of the session he was looking for the right lines. When he found the lines he tried to put a fast lap together. Andrea did several fast laps and finally ended the session in 23rd position.

The first moto started with some bad luck for Andrea because in the first turn some riders crashed just in front of him. Andrea started the race in the back of the field and had a lot of work to do to come back. During the race he passed a lot of riders and finally he finished the race in 23rd position.

In the second moto he took a better start and came out of the first corner around tenth position. In the first lap he wasn’t riding the good lines and because of this he got passed by a lot of riders. At the end of the first lap he came by start/finish outside of the top twenty. During the race his riding started to go better and he was able to pass several riders. After a consistent moto he crossed the finish line in twentieth position.

Overall he finished in 27th position. Round four of the championship will be held in Mill nexy Sunday.
