On Thursday, October 17, Alpinestars invited Dirt Rider to The Standard, Hollywood in West Hollywood, California, for the unveiling of its Limited Edition MX Capsule Collection in collaboration with Deus Ex Machina. Both Alpinestars and Deus Ex Machina are leading innovators in design, style, and product execution for athletes and consumers alike.

Protecting professional racers such as Eli Tomac, Jason Anderson, Justin Barcia, and Jeffrey Herlings, Alpinestars is one of the most well-recognized motocross gear brands in the world. Deus Ex Machina on the other hand offers a unique mixture of design by combining the lifestyle of motorcycles, surfing, bicycles, and everything that comes with it into its riding gear and iconic streetwear. With both entities offering impeccable style and design qualities, it only seemed natural to collaborate for a Limited Edition MX Capsule Collection.

As we arrived at The Standard, Hollywood on Sunset Boulevard, encapsulating lighting, Alpinestars banners, fully geared mannequins, and celebrities from both the motorcycle and surfing industry such as Jason Anderson, Ben Spies, Aaron Colton, Cole Seely, and Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo ensured we were in the right spot. As we headed out onto the patio near the pool, custom motorcycles by bike builder and Pikes Peak International Hill Climb finisher Michael “Woolie” Woolaway set the mood.

An open bar and an Alpinestars X Deus Ex Machina step and repeat banner had everyone feeling good before the video debut of the MX Capsule Collection featuring 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Champion Jason Anderson riding a Husqvarna two-stroke. A few words were said and the party continued as athletes, industry colleagues, and guests of all kinds enjoyed themselves under the night sky in the City of Angels.
