Many riders would use their cool down lap in timed practice to show off with some whips for the crowd. In timed practice Jessy chose the inside rut too shorten the track for a better qualifying time. Unlike last week’s track, Glen Helen was ripped deep and the ruts were forming early in practice. Jessy turned a 2:30.325 for 6th overall in the 250 class.Photography by Rob Koy

All the riders and mechanics have to be at the starting gate 20 minutes before the moto takes off. To keep cool before their moto all the riders will have an umbrella to shade themselves before they go out on their sight lap. Jessy hits a small jump going up the first hill on Mt. St. Helen. Glen Helen has the most elevation change of all the tracks on the Pro Motocross tour. Jessy got a mid pack start in moto 1 and struggled to move up through the field. On lap 6 he fell and was back to 19th place. He did work his way back to 13th at the end of the moto. Jessy did say that he was in a funk in the first moto and it took him a while to figure things out.Photography by Rob Koy
