Ride My Bike, Buddy - Dirt Rider Magazine

I'm a little embarrassed to say that I have been riding for about 8 years now and the July 2011 issue was the first time I have ever read Dirt Rider Magazine. I can't believe what I have been missing out on all these years. The writing is great and the subjects are even better. What a smart idea it is to switch bikes with a buddy to be able to notice the differences in performance. If I were always riding the same bike I would never notice any problems that were not obvious. It seems so simple, but after reading the article I can tell it is also very effective. When I started reading the article all I could think about was how I wish someone with experience could get on my bike and help me get the best out of it. You couldn't imagine my excitement when I saw at the end of the article that my bike could possibly have the chance of being a "Buddy Bike".I love my bike, but I do not think that it is the best thing ever. I just want to see what you think and would really like to know what I could do to make it better.**Ken Radel

_I am embarrassed for you as well. How could you be riding so long without ever reading a copy of Dirt Rider? How do you make it through the week between rides? I think of each issue going out to our readers like Linus' security blanket - something to cling to while the bike's waiting in the garage and the calendar is saying 'work today, ride later.'__I'm glad you liked the Buddy Bike story. Out next step isn't to ride reader bikes, but that opportunity is just around the corner... Stay tuned (that means subscribe and read religiously) to the mag and to dirtrider.com for any announcements. And we'll keep your info on hand and maybe we could meet up and put some DR editors and testers on your bike. -Pete_
