How To Pronounce "Akrapovic" - Dirt Rider Magazine

A few months back I got the special treat of touring the Akrapovic factory where they make those amazing titanium exhausts. I was there in Europe with my publisher Sean Finley, which was the thrill of a lifetime for him, and we thought we'd try to take you along with us on video tour.Well, it didn't work out. Primoz, former Schoolmaster and now Head of Public Relations at Akrapovic, wouldn't let me get past the intro, as you'll see. A full video with him hounding me over correct pronunciation of every Slovenain machine and product just wasn't going to fit into our timeline. I did learn to correctly pronounce the company's name (also the last name of its founder, Igor Akrapovic), and now when I hear the company name pronounced incorrectly it drives me crazy, so I'm starting to understand Primoz's strictness. His name, by the way, is pronounced "Pri-mosh" with a slight 'z' sound at the end.Things may have worked out for the best, because I took a ton of photos and it's made a really great Factory Tour story in the upcoming June 2010 issue of Dirt Rider. But until then, maybe you can learn from my mistakes in this attempt at a video intro. Now, if Primoz hadn't been there, and I'd gotten free reign to make my own video, I'm sure it would have come out something like this...http://www.akrapovic.com/company/factory-tour/
