Monday, February 9, 2009The scene: a muddy Anaheim mess. The scenario: riders ready for a head to head battle. The result: EVS athletes putting in consistent rides.Saturday night's muddy fiasco at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA was the setting for yet another heart-pumping round of the AMA Supercross series.In the Supercross Lites class, Chris Blose finished in 9th place while Ben Evans brought home the 16th place position. Overall, Chris Blose is in 6th place in the Supercross Lites West points standings while Ben Evans is in 12th, Michael Hall is in 22nd and Michael Blose rounds out the group in 31st.Switching over to the Supercross class, Josh Hill rode his way to an 8th place finish while Paul Carpenter, from the Cernic's Monster Energy Kawasaki team, finished in 14th. In the overall Supercross class points standings, Josh Hill holds tight to the 11th position with Paul Carpenter just one spot behind him in 12th. Robert Kiniry, Paul's teammate, sits in 24th and Daniel Blair is in 28th after six rounds.Riders and fans won't have far to go for the upcoming round of action in San Diego, CA this weekend.
