Buffalo, NY: Dunlop riders dominated the 14th Annual X-Games competition winning seven of the nine events conducted at two Los Angeles, CA venues, The Staples Center and The Home Depot Center on July 31- August 3, 2008. Dunlop riders clean swept the Moto-X Racing and Moto-X Best Trick podiums along with occupying two of the three podium positions on offer in each of the Supermoto, MX Racing (Adaptive), Moto-X Best Whip, Speed and Style, and Freestyle competitions. Overall Dunlop riders finished on every podium, in every class, winning more medals and events than any other tire brand represented at the event.Under the dazzling Friday night-lights of the Staples Center, freestyle expert Kyle Loza extended his reign as the Moto-X Best Trick Champion winning gold for his second consecutive year with his newest trick, The Electric Doom. Loza was joined on the podium by fellow Dunlop pilots Jeremy Lusk in second and Todd Potter in third. Across town at The Home Depot Center on Saturday, Dunlop rider Josh Hanson put his best grip forward winning the Moto-X Racing class. In front of a sold out crowd, Hanson clinched the holeshot and rode away to claim gold over Motocross great and Dunlop pilots Jeremy McGrath and Josh Grant. Dunlop's perfect 1-2-3 results on each of the Moto-X Best Trick and Racing podiums were unmatched by any other tire brand represented at the event.In the Supermoto class Jeff Ward and Brandon Currie successfully finished first and third, as did Todd Potter and Miles Richard in the Moto-X Best Whip contest, and Chris Ridgeway and Ricky James in the Moto-X Racing (Adaptive). Jeremy Lusk and Mat Rebaud took gold and silver honors on the Freestyle podium, and Tara Gieger showed what Dunlop women are made of winning the Moto-X Women's Racing. Ronnie Renner finished just shy of the top step, taking second place in the Moto-X Step Up event and Moto-X Speed and Style competition and Jeremy Stenberg joined Renner in the top three, finishing the Moto-X Speed and Style event in third place.About Dunlop Tires
