NATE ADAMS AND SIMON TABRON WIN AST DEW TOUR RIGHT GUARD OPEN, THE SECOND EVENT OF THE 2007 SEASONCLEVELAND, Ohio. - Nate Adams won the Freestyle Motocross finals based on his scoring in the prelims held on Saturday, July 21, while Simon Tabron captured his first victory of the season in BMX Vert at the AST Dew Tour's Right Guard Open at Cleveland's North Coast Harbor. The FMX finals, scheduled for Sunday, July 22, were cancelled due to high winds, and a demo was held in its place."It's a weird way to win but I'll take it," Adams said. "I've got two under my belt now. I'm excited to go to Portland and hopefully I'll come out with my third win of the year."Takayuki Higashino of Japan placed second with a score of 91.67. Third place went to Jeremy Stenberg, of Temecula, Calif., with a score of 90.50.After multiple wind delays throughout the afternoon, Tabron, a veteran of BMX Vert narrowly edged rookie competitor Steven McCann for the victory with a winning score of 91.67. McCann finished with a score of 90.83, follow by Chad Kagy with a 90.67."I love Cleveland and just wanted to have a good run at this tour event," said Tabron.
